Join us for Lord’s Day worship this Sunday as we gather to receive and be shaped by God’s ordinary means of grace—Word, sacraments, and prayer.

Every Sunday we worship at Compass Public Charter School, 4667 W Aviator St Meridian, ID 83642, at 10:30am. Go past the school on your right to the teachers’ parking lot (marked by a yellow swinging gate) and park by the playground. There will be signs directing you once you get to the basketball court.

The gym where we meet is on the left end of the courtyard as you face the school. Follow the signs to the side of the building and grab a bulletin and Psalter as you enter the gym.

During the worship service we have responsive readings of Scripture and will sing Psalms from the psalter without musical accompaniment. Pastor Hemphill will start the tune, and we sing a cappella together. For more information on our practice of Psalm singing see the Psalm Singing page.

We believe that children are a blessing from the Lord and desire to worship God altogether as a body (Ps 127:3; Deut 6:7). The Lord Jesus Christ said, “Let the little children come to me!” (Matt 19:14). In light of these convictions, we welcome children in our Lord’s Day gatherings. We desire that they’d grow up in seeing their parents and other Christians singing, praying, and loving their Lord in worship. We know having kids in service can be loud. We actually love the sound of crying babies and children asking questions. These are the sounds of God’s blessing on a congregation and we are thankful to help our families raise these children in the Lord.

After the worship service we enjoy one another’s fellowship around cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate. We invite you to stay and get to know us as we would love to get to know you and encourage you. If you join us on the first Lord’s Day of the month, you will be invited to our monthly fellowship meal at the Pastor’s home.

Although we are a church committed to worshiping both morning and evening, our current circumstances limit us to gathering for morning worship only (Lord willing, an evening service will be added in the future). We also believe the fellowship of the saints is important, so while we are no longer able to have evening worship, we have transitioned to a time of evening fellowship/Psalm singing in homes at 6:00pm. If you would like to join us, please contact us for more information.
